Added

  • Halloween

Until November 2, App Icon has Pumpkin, Ghost, Mummy and Witch, Edit Look… has a Halloween drawings set to keep, and the changelog's Dress Veb Up puts them on with a click.

  • Save pages from ⌘J

Ask ⌘J to save the page as a PDF, HTML, a web archive, Markdown, text or a picture and the file comes under the answer.

  • Updates while closed

A closed Veb updates itself: a small helper checks at login and every four hours and puts the newer build in place while the app isn't open.

  • Snippets from other apps

Settings › Snippets has Bring In: Text Replacements, Alfred and espanso from this Mac, Raycast's exported file and TextExpander's CSV, with a preview of what comes in.

  • Export bookmarks

Settings › Bring In exports your bookmarks to the HTML file Chrome, Safari and Firefox take in.

  • Several downloads at once

A page that starts several files at once gets the first; for the rest it asks on the site's card, Allow or Don't Allow, kept for the site in Site Controls.

  • Tab asks Claude

⇥ in the field asks the agent at once, as Raycast's Tab does, and the field's end says "Ask Claude ⇥".

  • Reopen a closed window

⇧⌘T brings back a window closed after its last tab, as in Chrome, and File says Reopen Closed Window then.

  • Copy Email Address

Right-click a mailto: link for Copy Email Address, the address alone.

  • Extension shortcuts

An extension's Keyboard Shortcuts link opens Settings › Shortcuts at its commands, and the keys an extension had in Arc, Dia or Chrome come with it.

  • Mail for agents

Agents' mail drafts take Cc, Bcc and files, forward, send from another address of the account and change a kept draft.

Improved

  • ⇧⌘T at once

A tab brought back with ⇧⌘T shows its page at once, as in Arc.

  • Site searches

⇥ after a site's name lists what you searched there and its pages you read, as in Arc.

  • Steady search rows

The search engine's rows under ⌘T's words no longer vanish and come back at each key.

  • Agents use your tab

An agent opening a page you already have open goes to your tab instead of opening a copy beside it.

  • Answers in the chat

A task's answer is the last message in its chat; there is no separate answer page.

  • Short replies

A word after an answer gets a short answer back, not the whole answer again.

  • Task folders

A task's folder that holds one site wears that site's icon.

  • Agents in your terminal

Folders and tabs of an agent you run in your own terminal, such as Claude Code or Codex, stop looking busy a minute and a half after its last step, and its tabs close on time.

  • Replies ready

Replies an agent writes show on their emails as Reply ready, instead of a count in the chat.

  • Assistants

Settings › Assistants opens with a way in to connect dots, Muse or Grok Bot, Enter a Code is a page with the code in two groups of four, and each assistant has its own page with its sites in one table.

  • Quit with an agent at work

⌘Q asks with three buttons: Cancel, Stop and Quit, Quit When Done.

  • Column over the page

With the page edge to edge, the column brought out over it wears its space's look, as Arc's sidebar does.

  • Mail

A tab in front in Mail has back, forward and reload, a draft's Cc and Bcc rows have an × to take them away, and a split just made from a label shows in the column.

  • Send Feedback

The email field comes filled with the address of your last report.

  • The field

A paste comes trimmed, and ⌘T or ⌘L again puts its field away, as in Arc.

Changed

  • ⇧⌘B

⇧⌘B shows or hides the bookmarks bar, as in Chrome, Dia and Safari; ⌃⌘B still does too.

  • Agents in One Row

Experimental: in Settings › Experimental, Agents in One Row keeps the tabs routines and terminal agents open out of the sidebar, behind one row that turns into the tab when one needs you.

Fixed

  • macOS 15 crash

Veb no longer crashes on macOS 15 when a tab plays sound, including at every launch with a playing tab restored.

  • Closing windows

Closing a window no longer crashes Veb.

  • Extensions and loading tabs

Turning off, removing or updating your only extension no longer stops the tabs loading at that moment.

  • Back and forward

Back and forward no longer hang while other tabs load.

  • History

A page you left before it finished loading is in History and the field's rows.

  • Full screen

Escape on a page no longer takes the window out of full screen.

  • Restart and shut down

Restarting or shutting down the Mac no longer stops at Veb's quit question.

  • Picture in Picture

A site's Picture-in-Picture on a busy Mac no longer gets stuck halfway.

  • Swipe back

Two-finger swipes on pages that scroll sideways no longer go back in history by mistake on a busy Mac.

  • Proton VPN

Proton VPN's popup gets past "Allow VPN permissions" to its sign-in.

  • Replies on X

An agent's words go into X's reply box once and stay editable.

  • Agents

A chat Claude turns away starts over on ChatGPT, Connect asks once, Bypass tasks don't stop before sending, and an assistant's task runs right after Veb opens.

  • Two mail accounts

With two accounts holding the same mail, an agent's reply or archive goes to the right one.

  • Selections and forms

⌘J on a selection, Replace and filling forms no longer wait 15 seconds on a busy Mac.

  • Tabs

Tabs dragged to another window land there with a full-screen window above the Dock, and tabs opened one after another keep their order.

  • Model picker

The model picker's details card stays inside a narrow window.
