Extensions that no longer slow tabs down, one ad blocker at a time, and password managers that connect.

Added

  • Password managers

    Settings › Passwords connects 1Password, Bitwarden or NordPass, and agents can sign in with it.

  • One ad blocker

    Adding an ad blocker asks once whether it or Veb's built-in blocker blocks; ⌘E and Settings › Privacy show which one.

  • Side panels

    An extension with a side panel opens it in the column, as in Chrome.

  • Lag in feedback

    Send Feedback carries short stalls, how long tabs took to open and switch, and the extensions installed, so a slow moment can be found.

  • Console Copy

    The console has a Copy button for the lines shown.

Improved

  • Tabs with password managers

    With NordPass, Bitwarden and 1Password installed, a new tab shows in about 0.2 s instead of 0.67 s, and a sleeping tab wakes in 0.2 s instead of 0.7 s.

  • Ad blockers

    An ad blocker no longer keeps the Mac busy while its lists update: idle CPU about 2% where it was 99%.

  • Extension messages

    Messages between an extension's parts no longer wait 10 seconds, so OneTab restores a group in half a second.

  • Starting with extensions

    With password managers installed, the first page shows in 1.3 s instead of 3 s.

  • Settings

    Menus in Settings work like Raycast's, and the page's name stays in the toolbar as you scroll.

  • Tab rows

    Tab rows, the floating column and its island are drawn as in Arc.

  • Small window

    Back, forward and reload sit in the small window's field.

  • Chat

    The chat is spaced like Messages.

Fixed

  • NordPass sign-in

    Signing in to NordPass by email or with Google comes back to NordPass instead of "The page couldn't load".

  • Extension popups

    An extension's popup stays open while the pointer goes into it, and its shortcut opens it from its pinned button.

  • Bitwarden's menu

    Picking a login in Bitwarden's menu fills the form in the tab in front.

  • AdBlock in new tabs

    AdBlock blocks in new tabs right after its lists update.
