Veb’s tools over MCP

Any agent that speaks MCP can drive Veb: its tabs, your sign-ins, forms, files, memory and mail, with your yes where it counts.

yab mcp is Veb’s MCP server, yab-browser, on stdin and stdout. Claude Code and Codex get it when you connect them (yab setup); for any other MCP client, Copy Config in Settings › Developers gives you the entry to paste. If Veb is closed, the first call opens it hidden.

Add it to another agent#

For clients that read an mcpServers list (Cursor, Claude Desktop, Windsurf and others):

Give its tools a long timeout where the client lets you: a sign-in or a yes waits for you, up to a few minutes. Agents are let in by the switch at the top of Settings › AI › Agents, which yab setup turns on for you. yab guide mcp prints what an agent should know.

The tools#

What stays yours#

  • Send, Pay, Delete and their like wait for your yes on the page, however the agent presses them.
  • A saved password is filled by Veb; the agent never sees it, nor a card’s number.
  • Private tabs don’t exist for an agent.
  • An agent sends a mail only when you asked for it, after your yes on a card showing every address, the subject and the words; in Bypass, without the card. It never puts mail in the Trash.
  • How much it asks first is one choice, Ask, Auto or Bypass, in Settings › AI › Agents › Agents ask first.
