Veb⌘, opens Settings in a window of its own, on General. You can also type a page’s name in the field, such as passwords settings.
Search#
The search at the top of the sidebar finds the row itself, not only its page, and finds shortcuts by what they do or by their keys. Each letter picks the best match; ↩ opens it and marks the row. ⌘F goes to the search and esc clears it, then closes the window.
The pages#
- General: Make Default while Veb isn’t your default browser, the version with Check Now, Save downloads to, Ask where to save each file, warn before quitting, Open at Login, and Bring In.
- Search: your search engine, suggestions under the field, Quick Actions and sites to search.
- Appearance: theme, window, color and grain, the app icon, the sidebar, density, the address bar, the bookmarks bar, page size and fonts.
- Tabs: tidying and sleep, closing agent tabs, which tabs ⌃⇥ goes through, sites always kept awake, floating video and meetings.
- Sync: your devices, and what syncs.
- Shortcuts: every key.
- AI: models and plans, commands, agents, assistants, buttons on sites, routines, memory and skills.
- Mail, once turned on in Experimental: accounts, notifications, splits, writing, your working hours and what agents may do.
- Snippets: words you write again and again, with or without Mail.
- Spaces, Live Folders and Small Window: spaces, live folders, links from other apps.
- Passwords and Autofill: passwords, cards, addresses and whole forms.
- Privacy, Extensions and About: the ad blocker, history, clearing data, extensions and feedback.
- Developers: Developer Mode, the
yabcommand and MCP. - Experimental: what isn’t finished yet, such as Mail.
- Invite Friends, after About: a link to send a friend.
